On 21 July 2026, H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Norraphat Srimanobhas, Lecturer at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, who is currently a researcher at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), together with four Thai university students from Chulalongkorn University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi participating in the Thailand-CERN Cooperation Programme under the CERN Summer Student Programme.

On 8 September 2026, during the 63rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva, H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Geneva, exercised the Right of Reply to counter and clarify facts in response to Cambodia’s distorted statement.

The Permanent Mission of Thailand organised a Buddhist ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother and National Mother’s Day on 12 August 2026

On 24 July 2026, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, organised a volunteer public clean-up activities at La Campagne public park where the Permanent Missions of ASEAN Member States has used as a venue for the ASEAN Sport and Family Day for three consecutive years.

On 24 July 2026, H.E. Miss Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Geneva presided over a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the 50th day of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

On 24 July 2026, the Permanent Mission of Thailand organised a ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2026. The ceremony was presided over by H.E Miss Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Geneva. H.E. Mrs. Pimchanok Pitfield, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, was also present as well as officials of the two Permanent Missions.
