On 6 July 2026, by H.E. Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, accompanied by H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations Office in Geneva, attended the opening ceremony of the Inaugural Global Dialogue on AI Governance at the Palexpo Convention Centre in Geneva.

Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, delivered a statement at the High-level Governmental Plenary, Harnessing the benefits of AI for all through Inclusive and interoperable approaches, held as part of the Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva.

On 6 July 2026, H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations Office in Geneva, hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, and the Thai delegation on the occasion of their visit to Geneva to participate in the Global Dialogue on AI Governance, the WSIS Forum 2026, and the AI for Good Global Summit.

On 30 June 2026, at the 16th session of Trade and Development Commission, Ambassador Usana Berananda, as a Co-chair of the the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on E-commerce and the Digital Economy, presented the report of the 9th Session of the IGE on E-commerce and the Digital Economy to the Trade and Development Commission.
