On 16 June 2026, H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, welcomed a delegation of youth representatives from Youth Voice, along with representatives from the Environmental and Social Foundation (ESF Thailand) and Dharma Alliance. She exchanged views with the group on the role of the youth in conservation and environmental protection, as well as the connection between these issues and human rights. The discussion reflected the perspectives of the younger generation on engaging with global issues from an early age and reflected the potential of Thai youth in advancing sustainable development with inclusivity and taking into account the human rights perspective.

 

The Thai youth delegation is also scheduled to present a short documentary film on marine wildlife conservation at the Interfaith Peer-Engagement for Human Fraternity and Peace conference, organized by the Vatican, Al-Azhar, and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
