On 3 December 2025, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva and the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization co-hosted a reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Father’s Day of Thailand on 5 December 2025. The reception was held at the World Intellectual Property Organization and was attended by officials from both Permanent Missions, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from international organizations, and members of the Thai community in Geneva.

H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations, delivered a speech in recognition to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother for their lifelong dedication to uplift the well-being of the Thai people. The Thai Ambassador also took this opportunity to reaffirm Thailand’s commitment to multilateralism as a trusted and responsible member of the international community in addressing global challenges.

On this occasion, the Permanent Mission of Thailand screened the royal tribute video “Her Majesty the Queen Mother: A Legacy that Touched the World”. The Mission also organized an exhibition on Her Majesty The Queen Mother and her royal initiatives in promoting Thai textiles, as well as an AI booth for guests to create simulated images of themselves wearing Thai national costume (Chud Thai).

เมื่อวันที่ 3 ธันวาคม 2568 คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา และคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในโอกาสวันคล้ายวันพระราชสมภพ พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร วันชาติไทย และวันพ่อแห่งชาติ 5 ธันวาคม 2568 ณ สำนักงานใหญ่องค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก โดยมีข้าราชการคณะผู้แทนถาวรฯ ทั้งสองแห่ง คณะทูตานุทูต ผู้บริหารองค์การระหว่างประเทศ และชุมชนไทยในนครเจนีวาเข้าร่วม

นางสาวอุศณา พีรานนท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์เทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ที่ทรงปฏิบัติพระราชกรณียกิจเพื่อประโยชน์สุขของประชาชนชาวไทย ตลอดจนกล่าวแสดงความพร้อมของไทยในการมีบทบาทอย่างสร้างสรรค์ในเวทีพหุภาคีพหุภาคีเพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายต่าง ๆ ของโลก

ในโอกาสนี้ คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยฯ ได้เผยแพร่วีดิทัศน์เฉลิมพระเกียรติ “Her Majesty the Queen Mother: A Legacy that Touched the World” ก่อนเริ่มงาน พร้อมจัดกิจกรรมเทิดพระเกียรติและเสริมสร้างการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับพระราชกรณียกิจยกระดับผ้าไทยผ่านนิทรรศการและการฉายวิดีทัศน์พระราชกรณียกิจด้านชุดไทยและกิจกรรมการถ่ายภาพจำลองการสวมใส่ชุดไทยพระราชนิยม ซึ่งไทยจะเสนอขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ในปี 2569 ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานจำนวนมาก
